Aud Click

How do i get the internet to work? My husband lost the instructions on how to do everything to make it work...Is there a place to find this information?

Connecting Your WiFi Network   - Connect your phone to your wifi network (Must be 2.4GHz network) - Download the "iLuv Aud Click" app and the "Amazon Alexa" App - Press and hold the power/wifi button to power on the Aud Click. - Open the Aud Click app. The app will search for a connected Aud Click - Select "New Aud Click" - Confirm your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz wifi network. Select next. - Select your Aud Click from the list of devices - Enter your wifi password and select next - Quickly press the power/wifi button and select continue - If connection is successful select "Next". If connection was unsuccessful select "Try Again" and re-enter your password. - Choose or enter a name to identify your Aud Click then select "Next"     Connecting Alexa   - If you do not wish to setup Alexa select "Cancel" - To sign into Alexa select "Sign in with Amazon" and sign in to your Amazon account - If you do not have an Amazon account select "Create a new Amazon account" and follow the steps - Choose a language for Alexa - Tap the silver ring of the Aud Click and say "Hello". Alexa will say "Hello" - Select "Next" to see a few commands you can use - Select "Next" again to continue to the Aud Click app   To personalize Alexa or learn about her skills open the Amazon Alexa app. Select the menu icon to browse the selections.   Connecting by Bluetooth   - After powering on the Aud Click, double click the silver ring. The flashing white light will flash blue.  - Turn your phone`s Bluetooth on. - If your phone does not auto-scan for devices please scan for available Bluetooth devices. - Select the "iLuv Aud Click" from the list of devices. - Once connected the flash blue light change to a solid blue light.  

If I'm using this in Bluetooth mode in my car, will the device act as a hands free speaker during a call? If so is there the option to answer the call with the aud click?

In Bluetooth mode, the Aud Click can not be used as a speakephone.

Can you play pandora on this? That is the major reason of my purchase of this speaker. Thank you

Currently Pandora can only be played via bluetooth. To switch between wifi and bluetooth modes quickly double click the silver ring. The white LED will turn blue. The LED will flash blue when a decive is not connected via bluetooth. Go to your bluetooth settings and select the "iLuv AudClick". Once connected the LED will be solid blue.

I have no way to force my phone to connect to 2.4ghz, my router has band steering that cannot be turned off so my phone will connect to 5g only. How can I do this setup?

During the setup, the app asks to make sure your phone is connected to 2.4G wifi, not 5G. If your wifi has the same name for both 5G and 2.4G, please ignore it. go on. and enter the password. it will fail during the initial attempt. 
After that, the app will let you to select "Alternate way to set up". please select "Alternate way to set up" and then follow the steps. Finally, the connection will be made successfully.

If I am listening to music and I have a phone call come in will it tell me who is calling

The Aud Click can not announce phone calls.

Why is the Aud Click not working at the office?

The Aud Click is designed for home use Wi-Fi connectivity and may not function properly within an office environment where Wi-Fi protective firewalls are operating.

How do I know which mode I am in?

The LED will be white in WiFi mode and blue in Bluetooth mode.

Is the battery rechargeable., does it use USB for charging,....can the speaker play while recharging..

The Aud Click uses a rechargeable battery and comes with a USB charging cable. The charging times are 3 hours, when off, and 6 hours in standby. While running the Aud Click will continue to charge (charge light will stay on).

How do I connect this to bluetooth on my macnote book?

Quickly double click the silver ring. The LED will turn blue and flash (pairing mode). In the bluetooth settings of your MacBook select the iLuv Aud Click. Once connected the LED will be solid blue. To return to WiFi mode quickly double click on the silver ring again.

I can't connect this unit to my home network. When it asks for a password during setup, is it looking for the wireless network key or my amazon pw?

During the wifi setup the password would be your network pass key. Once you're connected to your network you will need your Amazon password to log into Alexa. 

Do you have to have an amazon echo for this to work? or can this take the place of owning one of those? confused how this works....

The Aud Click's virtual assistant is Amazon's Alexa so you do not need to purchase any other device. You just need to log in to your Amazon account through the Aud Click and setup Alexa.
